With our curricular, the programs helps participant to become job creators for themselves in groups or as an individual as entrepreneurs, as well as to make healthy financial decisions from when they earn money to what they do with it thereafter.

WPO’s programs are curriculum-based. We offer programs that help participants especially young to understand how to start and establish successful and profitable businesses.Effective curriculum delivery depends in large part on the knowledge, style and expertise of instructors.WPO’s model is highly dependent on volunteers, and other experts who share their expertise by providing mentorship to participants.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Nipe Nafasi

Nipe Nafasi ‘’Give me Chance’’ is a program aimed to assist girls who believe themselves that they can do and change their community if they got a chance. This program has played an instrumental role in assisting girls from the most vulnerable families in the villages. The beneficiaries are survivors of gender-based violence, early pregnant girls and those who didn’t have a chance to attend higher education especially in rural areas.

Medical Carava

We also do medical caravans to communities as the need and opportunity arises. We typically visit a community for some days depending on the community need providing free medical services. We are open for various partner organizations in the Kilimanjaro Region for expertise and their experience
to assist in conducting health service outreach for the benefit of the community. If your organization is interested in partnering, please contact us at info@wazopevu.org

HIV and AIDS

WPO’s programs treat HIV as a transversal (cross cutting) theme and apply different approaches to address the issue among various categories of people infected and affected by the pandemic: orphans, widows/widowers, expectant mothers and the community at large.WPO’s programs begin by facilitating a process with the community during which their challenges are identified and prioritized for action.

If HIV/AIDS is identified as a challenge, then WPO will partner and collaborate with the relevant
government departments to provide mobile health clinic services to the community where voluntary counseling and testing (VCT) is done.
